SAAS

The Union of Artisans of Asturias was born the idea of ​​bringing together various associations of artisans of Asturias in order to defend their interests.
Thus, in Oviedo on 28 February 1992 establishing the association and approved its statutes. The SAAS is within the territory of the Principality of Asturias integrating people who voluntarily apply for membership, and they fulfill the legal conditions required to be considered as such artisans as well.

Aims of the Association:
a. Representation, advocacy and promotion of economic, social, professional and cultural interests of its members.
b. Promote solidarity among members artisans, promoting and creating common health care services.
c. Set the necessary actions to achieve social and economic improvement of its members.
d. Organize a constant task of training and cultural advancement of its members.
e. The relationship with autonomous bodies, national and international for a better development of the sector’s interests.
f. Any other similar nature.

Association may join the artisans to develop their business in the territory of the latter on condition observe the Statutes and Rules of Procedure Rules. Membership can be individual or partnership and is inherently the payment of the fee is fixed by the General Assembly (see Articles of Association).

This Association organizes major craft fairs and craft national ArteGijón summer and Christmas in the Plaza de Gijón Ludo and Luanco fair in the summer and hope to organize other craft fairs to expand our offering to the artisans.
